Almost from Beaverdell to Kelowna there was a blinding snow storm, what made it bad was that the snow packed easy under the tires and became ice. We had to stop at several places due cars and trucks having trouble in the snow and even for us just starting again was hard. The tires would spin instantly on the slight incline, so had to back up and try again. Below the turn off to Big White is where here were a number of cars in trouble trying to come up the hill.
